Reading
Indian Sidney
Submitted by Satyabrata Sahoo on Tue, 10/13/2009 - 15:10.Well, it’s a different issue whether Sidney Sheldon won any booker prize or nominated for Noble prize but he won a lot of hearts all over the world with simple language and beautiful queens in his books. Perhaps he can be recommended as a starter for any reader any where in the globe.

Soul Mountain
Submitted by Satyabrata Sahoo on Tue, 10/13/2009 - 14:28.In traditional China, the philosophy of Confucius was developed into an automatic ideology alongside infrastructures that allowed it to permeate all levels of society, and the individual after birth was conditioned to be subservient to a clearly defined hierarchy of authorities.

Book Review: 2 states
Submitted by nik1 on Tue, 10/13/2009 - 13:33.It was last Saturday evening at around 6pm when there were 2 hours to go for the Deccan chargers Vs Somerset something match to begin when I decided to read this new book by Chetan Bhagat: 2 States. Well, to be frank, the last two books of Chetan Bhagat did disappoint me although they were blockbusters. Both didn’t have the magic that Five point someone had. I was eagerly waiting for a book that would captivate me at the same level as Five point someone did. So with this expectations I started reading.

The Witch of Portobello : A Must Read
Submitted by tiku on Mon, 09/28/2009 - 10:45.
My introduction to Paulo Coelho came from a friend who is a Pranic Healer. I was unwell and had nothing much to do than rest. Someone got me the books I had listed and I immersed myself in them. I read The Alchemist and The Zahir and liked them.
On one rainy day I Picked up The Witch of Portobello and read the back cover.
“How do we find the courage to always be true to ourselves—even if we are unsure of whom we are?”
I knew it was going to be a long association with the writer and the book.

Book Review: A thing beyond forever
Submitted by nik1 on Sun, 09/27/2009 - 23:33.Very often I read books without any prior information or knowledge about the same. And not all such books are interesting though that I tend to read till the end. Last night when my friend offered me this book "A thing beyond forever" to read, frankly it was not love at first sight. The very caption which read "Reward for every true love is not love" wasn't very appealing to me. I felt like it is the very old DevD-"love not relaised" type.

PLUTO 001 : Urasawa X Tezuka
Submitted by alok.sharma on Tue, 08/25/2009 - 00:43.Junot Diaz, winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction (Brief Wondorous Life of Oscar Wao) aptly said, "Urasawa is a national treasure in Japan, and if you aren't afraid of picture books, you'll see why."
